Don't mind me. I'm just learning how to use Illustrator. Basically it
was just an experiment that I liked the results of and decided to try it
in a few color combinations and put it up for sale. Most of them come in pairs with the fish circling each other, but some of the older designs just have single fish. Available on
Cafepress and Zazzle.

Hummingbird
Hummingbird and trumpet vine blossoms. I originally drew this as
decoration for a gift to my Mother. Later I decided to adapt it to a variety of products on my various stores. The main changes are just how far away the bird is from the blossoms in order to better fit the print area and whether or not it has a background like int he image above. Available on Cafepress, Zazzle,
Spreadshirt, and Printfection.
Sorry there haven't been any posts for so long, but things have been a little busy for me lately.

Tesseract
The tesseract, or hypercube, is the 4D cousin of the everyday 3D cube.
Consisting of eight cubes folded onto each other in four dimensions, the
tesseract is often projected into our 3D world as a cube within a cube
with edges connecting them. This is another vector image only available
on Spreadshirt.

Impossible Cube
Impossible cube design is available in two styles. Since Spreadshirt
only allows for three color choices in vector designs there is one with
two colored sides and black edges and another with three colored sides and no edges.

DNA Circle
A double helix linked back upon itself to form a circle of DNA.
Available as a vector design so you can choose your own color
combination on Spreadshirt. Vector designs are only available on
Spreadshirt so that's the only place I'm selling this one.
This is the first of several vector images designed specifically to take advantage of Spreadshirts special printing techniques. So far it's the only Print On Demand site I've found that can take .eps files and allow users to choose their own color combinations or to have glow in the dark or metallic prints available. If you know of any that I don't, please, please, Please let me know in the comments. I always like to have some new options.

Escher Ants
A CG image inspired by M. C. Escher's Mobius Strip II, which has always
been one of my favorites. It's nowhere near an exact reproduction, but
it's good enough to make me happy. And in case you're wondering, Yes, those are the exact same ant models I used for Prometheants in last week's post. Since I'd already put the effort into modeling, texturing, and rigging them I figured I might as well use it again. And for some reason, whenever I think "Ants" I think about M. C. Escher, so that seemed like the obvious next move.
This is available as on Cafepress as posters ("small" and "mini") as well as on Zazzle as both posters and cards. It's been a long time and I don't remember too clearly, but I think the mobius strip model here is the same one I re-purposed when I made my 1 Sided Die.

Prometheants
We have harnessed the power of the Gods. A group of ants work together to lift aloft a magnifying glass. Now they are gods among ants. I got the idea one day when a student's bicycle suddenly blue its tire while minding its own business in a sunny spot in the courtyard. I joked that maybe a bunch of ants carried a magnifying glass into a nearby tree and this was them taking revenge on all the children who had used this optical tool on them. Available as posters on Cafepress and Zazzle as
well as in a cartoon style for shirts on both of those sites as well as
Spreadshirt, and Printfection.
I've also got a demo spin of the original Promethants model.
In case you're no fan of ancient Greek mythology, the name is a take on Prometheus, a Titan who stole fire from the gods and gave it to humanity. Here the ants have stolen a magnifying glass for their own purposes.

Artsy Designs For Sale
A surprisingly large - and still growing - contingent of my Newest Items
page has been category I've come to call "Artsy". When I first started
designing for Print On Demand sites I really only considered making
shirts with goofy sayings. Trying to make pretty pictures was never part
of my plans.
I've never claimed to know much about art (but I know what I like) and I've certainly never claimed to be a fine artist myself. I don't believe for a second that anything on this page will end up on the wall of a museum one day, but I enjoy making stuff and it can't all be about comedy. Artsy is the category I've got for everything that's not creepy, goofy, or geeky enough to go everywhere else. Is it a bunch of pretty pictures? Well, I'll leave that for you to decide.
These are available for sale on all my various online stores such as Cafepress, Zazzle, Spreadshirt, Printfection, Spoonflower, Shapeways, and MySoti. The Spreadshirt page is for my shop, where I've got t-shirts already designed but you can design your own by clicking here, then "Choose Design", and search for "will la puerta". (Or you can search for designs that aren't mine, but where's the fun in that?) You can also keep up with all my latest additions on the Reaper Media Facebook Page.
