Impossible Cube

Impossible cube design is available in two styles. Since Spreadshirt only allows for three color choices in vector designs there is one with two colored sides and black edges and another with three colored sides and no edges.

Infinity

Infinity symbol with a fade. Available as a vector design so you can choose your own color on Spreadshirt. This one only has one color to pick but the specialty colors (like glow in the dark!) only allow you to use one color anyway.

DNA Circle

A double helix linked back upon itself to form a circle of DNA. Available as a vector design so you can choose your own color combination on Spreadshirt. Vector designs are only available on Spreadshirt so that's the only place I'm selling this one.

This is the first of several vector images designed specifically to take advantage of Spreadshirts special printing techniques. So far it's the only Print On Demand site I've found that can take .eps files and allow users to choose their own color combinations or to have glow in the dark or metallic prints available. If you know of any that I don't, please, please, Please let me know in the comments. I always like to have some new options.

Escher Ants

A CG image inspired by M. C. Escher's Mobius Strip II, which has always been one of my favorites. It's nowhere near an exact reproduction, but it's good enough to make me happy. And in case you're wondering, Yes, those are the exact same ant models I used for Prometheants in last week's post. Since I'd already put the effort into modeling, texturing, and rigging them I figured I might as well use it again. And for some reason, whenever I think "Ants" I think about M. C. Escher, so that seemed like the obvious next move.

This is available as on Cafepress as posters ("small" and "mini") as well as on Zazzle as both posters and cards. It's been a long time and I don't remember too clearly, but I think the mobius strip model here is the same one I re-purposed when I made my 1 Sided Die.

Here's turntable I rendered:

Prometheants

We have harnessed the power of the Gods. A group of ants work together to lift aloft a magnifying glass. Now they are gods among ants. I got the idea one day when a student's bicycle suddenly blue its tire while minding its own business in a sunny spot in the courtyard. I joked that maybe a bunch of ants carried a magnifying glass into a nearby tree and this was them taking revenge on all the children who had used this optical tool on them. Available as posters on Cafepress and Zazzle as well as in a cartoon style for shirts on both of those sites as well as Spreadshirt, and Printfection.

I've also got a demo spin of the original Promethants model.
In case you're no fan of ancient Greek mythology, the name is a take on Prometheus, a Titan who stole fire from the gods and gave it to humanity. Here the ants have stolen a magnifying glass for their own purposes.
